Amidst all the hope and change and possibility, a new age for trains?
California says yes to high speed rail, Obama supports an enriched midwestern passenger rail system out of hub city Chicago, Joe Biden loves Amtrak, and Denver sees property values rise directly proportionate to new light rail lines. Here’s hoping the new administration can provide the policy and resources to support the sorely-needed efficient network of rail transit nationwide. In other news, Joe Biden’s Amtrak station is one of my favorite places.
