New York is considering a new manifesto to rebuild their middle class (ha! sorry) and they’ve taken three San Franciscan strategies under advisement: adopting a citywide minimum wage, guaranteed paid sick days, and bringing grocery stores to underserved neighborhoods.

Interesting. I used to see police officers on buses all the time (especially mid-afternoon on lines that act as surrogate SFUSD school buses) but just realized I haven’t seen one in a really long time.
Then again, I haven’t really experienced any threats to the public safety on Muni in the last few years either.
